RED CROSS WILDERNESS & REMOTE FIRST AID RECERTIFICATION
DURATION: Minimum 10 hours
SETTING: OUTSIDE! Mother Nature permitting. Unique to each course scheduled.
SCHEDULING: Unique to each course scheduled.
CERTIFICATE: Red Cross Wilderness & Remote First Aid with CPR-C/AED
VALIDATION: Certificate is valid for 3 years.

Recertifications are a means to re-evaluate the participant’s knowledge of the content and skills. It is NOT a course to re-teach the content. If the participant cannot pass the knowledge evaluation and skills check list independently they may be asked to take full course training again.

1. CPR, choking, AED
2. Improvised C-collar
3. Hypothermia wrap
4. Spinal immobilization
5. Splints, slings, bandages
6. 1 medical scenario, 1 injury scenario
